I practice crystal healing, hand healing and tarot reading.
I also have an interest in the runes and can read and write runic.
I have been learning about crystal healing for over 16 months.
I have been reading the tarot cards for over nine months.
I am a member of The Twilight Worlds Paranormal Research Society and have been for quite some time.
Some people may consider me to be fairly new to alternative practices, but I believe that interest and learning is more relevant, and twelve months spent learning makes a much more valuable person than a decade spent forgetting.
In the future I hope to become professionally trained in crystal healing and possibly reading the runes but this may be awhile away as I am only 17 now.
I originally got into crystal healing because of my Mum, that may seem sad, but she had a crystal party where an experienced crystal healer comes to your house and does a talk on how and why the crystals work and does a few practical demonstarations as well as selling crystals. I listened to the talk and was immediately interested, although I've got to admit I was enthralled by the pendulums.
It's really just gone on from there, with my interests growing and branching out over time.
The crystal party woman is Brenda Huntand she does various events around the North East, such as the Boldon Spiritual Fair, which is held at the quality hotel in boldon (just around the corner from the UGC cinema) on the first Sunday of every month.
Outside of alternative practices I go to college, where I study English Literature, Law and Psychology. I also read a lot, write, and ride mountain bikes, downhill mountain biking is the best.
I'm always interested to hear the views of other who also have an interest in these kind of subjects.
Over the next few months I plan to finish all of the non-working links and also add some more pages, such as a message board, tarot deck reviews, and a section on alternative religions.
